Biography : John deVadoss serves as a Governing Board Member of the Global Blockchain Business Council. He is a co-founder of the InterWork Alliance and was part of the team that developed the Token Taxonomy Framework. Previously, he built pioneering developer tools that are used by the Fortune 500 and leading blockchain projects; he built the first Smart Contract Debugger, and the first Time-travel Debugging capabilities for blockchain/DLT platforms. Earlier, John built Microsoft Digital from 0 to $0.5B+ in revenue; he also led architecture for .NET, the Application Platform, patterns & practices, Enterprise Strategy etc. John pioneered SOA in the enterprise, and incubated Cloud/SaaS for Microsoft. He did his MS in ML, and his PhD work in AI, at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

John deVadoss, co-founder of the InterWork Alliance, presented “Securing AI – 7 Things to Note,” highlighting the vulnerabilities of generative AI models. He underscored the risks of tainted data, malicious prompt engineering, and embedding inversions. deVadoss emphasized that without verifiable security protocols, AI could be manipulated in ways that threaten both individuals and organizations. “Generative AI’s guardrails are flawed and easy to bypass,” deVadoss warned.
He advocated for a proactive approach to AI security, using advanced encryption and blockchain verification to protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity of AI systems.
